Sunflower Oil Press
As a plant native to Mexico, sunflower seed can be divided into two types: edible oil sunflower and sunflower grain. The ratio the ordinary sunflower seed contains oil and shell is 29% to 30%, 30% to 40% respectively with the kernel containing 40% to 65% of oil. Mostly, sunflower grain are small, black seeds with oil content up to 45% to 54%, shell down to 22%, and protein 21% to 23%. As high-quality edible oil, sunflower seed oil enjoys the reputation of being "nutritional oil". It contains more unsaturated fatty acid and vitamin E that could be easily absorbed by human body. Linoleum acid content is up to 70%, which could drive down the cholesterol level in blood.
